This page explains what Robin A. Gittens (“I”, “PoetiKit”) collects on robinagittens.com and in the PoetiKit app, why, and what you can do about it. Questions or requests: hello@robinagittens.com.

1. This website (robinagittens.com)
   The site is hosted by Wix. I use Google Analytics to count visits and Google Ads to measure whether an ad led to a sign-up. Ad personalization is turned off, so you are not added to ad audiences. These tools use cookies. If you decline marketing cookies, ad measurement does not run. Additionally, If you send a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, optional phone number and message through Wix, and we use them only to reply to you.
    

2. Email sign-up
   When you sign up, I collect your name, email address and the writing level you choose. They are stored in MailerLite, which sends your PoetiKit access link and one poem a month. By signing up, you agree to receive these emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time. I never sell or rent your email address.
    

3. The PoetiKit app
   The app stores your account details, poems and saved versions, preferences, recordings and mentor chats in Lovable Cloud. The app has no advertising or analytics trackers. You can sign in with email, or with Google, Apple or Microsoft. App pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which can see your IP address.
    

4. Your poems and AI
   Your poems are private unless you choose to share them with the PoetiKit community.
   
   To give you feedback, your poem text, craft preferences and any recording you attach are sent to Google’s Gemini models through the Lovable AI Gateway. This covers Analyze, the Mentor chat and the originality check. Your name, email address and account ID are not sent. If you share a poem, its text is also sent to produce a one-line reading hook, and comments are checked for tone. Research sends only what you type to Brave Search. Word lookups use Wiktionary, the Free Dictionary API and Datamuse.
   
   Requests are processed by AI providers in the United States and possibly other countries. Lovable’s agreements with those providers limit them to delivering the service and prohibit them from training on your content. PoetiKit has no AI-training pipeline of its own and does not use your poems to train or improve any AI model. I don’t control how long providers keep requests, and they do not publish retention periods. The services involved are listed at trust.lovable.dev/subprocessors.
   
   The Poetry Mentor never writes poems for you.
    

5. Logs
   PoetiKit’s own logs do not store poem text or AI conversations. Technical error logs may include your account ID.
    

6. Ownership
   You own every poem you write. By submitting a poem you give PoetiKit only the limited, revocable right to process it on your behalf so you can receive feedback.
    

7. Your controls
   You can delete any poem at any time. This also removes its versions, analyses, chat history, recordings and images. You can delete your account from Profile → Account, which permanently removes your poems and profile. Comments and likes you left on other poets’ work remain, without your name. Older technical logs may remain until cleared. To unsubscribe, use the link in any email. To request a copy of your poems or anything else, email hello@robinagittens.com.
    

8. Changes
   If this policy changes, I will update the date at the top.
